When we were approached to design the new location for The Balsam School we were excited at the opportunity to provide a Scandinavian inspired learning experience for elementary aged students. As Balsam describes, they “bring the best parts of learning together: nature, school and community”. The interior design provides dedicated space for community and student interaction, with great attention to the flexibility of the larger gathering spaces to maximize a variety of programming.
